Apple Chocolate Cake

Well it's been fun sharing some family recipes with you all. I've had some new visitors to my kitchen and it spurs me on to add more great meals that I can share. This recipe that I'm adding today is from my "Aunt Pearl." She was such a love and would have really gotten a kick out sharing this across the Internet with so many different people...

2 cubes butter or 1 Cup margarine
2 Cups sugar
3 eggs
1/2 Cup water
1 T. vanilla
Beat until fluffy

2 1/2 Cups flour
1 t. soda
1 T. cinnamon
1 t. cloves
2 T. Cocoa
Mix until well blended and add to the wet ingredients.

Fold in : 2 Cups grated apples ( red delicious )
1 Cup chopped walnuts
1 Cup chocolate chips

Add spray pam to your bundt pan and the batter. Cook at 325 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Toothpick test.

I have served this cake for dessert and at brunches. It need no icing. All the different flavors make a very special cake that I hope you, your friends and family enjoy!

Okay, Dustye, I have been hooked. This sounds so Yummy for the Tummy! Maybe I can try and make it this weekend with my granddaughter. She's 8 and enjoys baking. How did you get your new picture on the site? I know this sounds goofy, but I just don't know. Do you cut and paste or what? I need help and my friend and I were going to put stuff on my site in Florida, but she made her own and then I got sick and did't feel like messing with it.She wanted to do it, but I wanted to wait and time flew by. Go see her at YourSweetEyes. Sorry it's so long, but I am happy for you. We're beginners, but trust me this blogging is so fun.

Thanks Nanatrish for the comment! Boy let me tell you I'm really a beginner at this blogdom stuff! And on top of that,I'm not very good at computer stuff either. I'm just a user...

My good friend at Knitting Mania was my inspiration and helped me put my blog together. I couldn't get my pictures to download (just too big for some reason) but Chris knew how to pull them out of the photo files and get them put on there. I'm in trouble if I ever want to change it!

I going to keep trying to learn to change things so I can get better at this. Chris went into my profile and somewhere in there it said to add a picture. Write Chris a note cause I know she will help you. Between you and me we will just figure this out...

Good luck with the cake recipe this weekend. I hope your family enjoys it!
